A Bronte Fruit Salad

I love a fruit salad made with all my favourite flavours and textures. One of the great things about living in and near cities is the availability of fresh fruit and veg grown locally and from around the world at an affordable price.

Aldi yields plenty of great stuff. I picked up a huge pomegranate and other fruits today on my way home.

A Bronte Fruit Salad

Pomegranate seeds and little bit of the juice

Slices of lime

Lemon juice (squeezed from a half of one)

Cherries, halved and stoned, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries

Three apricots, two nectarines and apples

A few drops of Rose water

Slice as you like.

Pop in a big ceramic bowl and then in to the fridge

Serve chilled as it is. Nothing more.

Soon the bilberries will be ready on Haworth moor.

A walk to Top Withens is due soon.
